The strongest field in Shell Houston Open history tees off Thursday morning in the PGA TOUR's 10th oldest event. Johnson Wagner begins defense of the title he won in 2008, hoping for another fast start. Wagner opened with a course-record tying 9-under-par 63 to share the first-round lead. The Amarillo native then held on to claim his first PGA TOUR victory.
The 144-player field tees off No. 1 and No. 10 in two waves, from 7:20-9:10 AM and from 12:10-2 PM. Click here to view a complete list of tee times.

A total of 15 of the Top 20 players in the World Golf Rankings begin play today for a $5.7 million purse and a potential invitation to next week's Masters Tournament. The winner of the Shell Houston Open will automatically garner a berth in field at Augusta National if not already eligible.
